Order No. 915.GOE
This glass cube shows in a unique way the First Goetheanum with its distinctive double dome made of wood. It allows a view of the overall concept, which is unparalleled.
The first Goetheanum, foundation stone laid in 1913, burned to the ground even before its opening on New Year’s Eve 1920. This enormous wooden building with its two domes was richly carved and painted inside. With this building, Rudolf Steiner developed the organic architectural style, i.e. a stem in which – similar to a plant – each part, each form, each colour is in inner connection with the whole and the whole is divided into individual parts through metamorphoses.
Dimensions: 78 x 98 x 118 mm / 2.3 kg.
